Socket R7s for HB811 - HB975

Socket R7s for the HPA 400 S lamps used in Philips Sun Mobile home solariums.

Comes without the metal bracket in the second picture. The easiest way is to replace the porcelain sockets at the existing bracket with one screw! Fastening with internal M3 bolts

Sockets should always be replaced when the contacts of socket or lamp are burned or have a black look.
If this isn't done, a new lamp can malfunction within hours!

This Philips socket has been discontinued.
Hapro, the current manufacturer of the Sunmobile has the socket replaced by this one.

Replacing the old sockets is therefore not as easy any more.
The electrical connection has changed (but that is not really a problem)  and the ceramic fastening bold's are no longer 3mm but 4mm.

Cutting new threads into the bracket is an easy possibility if you have the means, but you can of course replace the bracket with the new one which comes with the alternative sockets: Then you have to drill out the pop rivets, replace the bracket en fasten with with new rivets or small bolts.

The electrical connection  connection kan be made by cutting off the sliding plugs from the existing wiring and from the new sockets.
Then connect them again with small terminal block's or something of a similar kind.
